Great Salt Lake Bird Festival Student Art Contest sponsored in part by the Davis County Commissioners' Cup Golf Tournament and Rio Tinto Kennecott Utah Copper. The art contest for 2015 featured the Broad-tailed Hummingbird.
Congratulations to all who entered. Great Salt Lake Bird Festival presented a special award to Lakeside Elementary in West Point Utah for entering 618 pieces of art. This represents almost every student. Principal Don Holt was at the awards ceremony on Friday, May 16th to receive a special plaque for the school and art teacher Alyson Scales. The Festival also presented Lakeside Elementary with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in two categories.
